5th Sunday Zoe Refreshing with Bishop Anthony Gilyard [Recap]

On Sunday, June 31st, we held our annual 5th Sunday Evening ZOE District Fellowship. Our leaders, Superintendent Terence A. Merritt, M.D. and District Missionary Evelyn Foster called us together for a time of refreshing that would leave you wanting MORE! You had to be there to experience it. Then Bishop Anthony Gilyard took to the platform to release a powerful word entitled "Destinations, Delays and Detours" from Exodus 32:1-4. After the message, two boldly professed their Christian Faith and were baptized in water. As customary on 5th Sunday evenings, we also dined at the Lord's table in Holy Communion. 

Every 5th Sunday we give away $1000 to a tither to go towards Debt Cancellation. We randomly pick someone and bless their life. We've done this for over a year now and it has proven to be a benefit to our membership. This quarter, our winner was Karen Walker who went home with a check for $1000.
