Summer Splash 2019

The Merged College and Young Adult Ministry of LIFE Church is excited to announce the 2019 Summer Splash Trip destination: Phenix City, AL. The young adults of LIFE Church will be loading up the bus for white water rafting on Saturday, June 22nd at 8:30am. 

​The cost of registration is $75.00 per person until June 9th, at which the price will go up to $85.00 for late registration and is non-refundable after this date. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, June 16th. Registration includes transportation to Tennessee, all activities, lunch and snacks. ​The event is open to all young adults and college students ages 18 and up. This is a great opportunity for graduating high school seniors. On this trip, they will get to share this experience with the Merged Family.  What better way to become apart of Merged than on the water! 

IMPORTANT DETAILS: ​A mandatory informational will be held on Sunday, June 2nd immediately following the 10am service in the main sanctuary. During this session, details will be disseminated concerning travel, registration price details, road rules and other pertinent information. For more details, contact D. What is Summer Splash?

Summer Splash is a time when the young adults embark upon a time of team building,  fellowship, fun and excitement. What better way to do this than to jump in a little water. White water rafting is a great way to do all of this! ​​​​

Whitewater rafting is an excellent way to encourage camaraderie and strengthen team relationships. Team building exercises don’t have to be at a nearby park or in a meeting room of the workplace to be effective. A lot of young adults enjoy team building a lot more when it takes place in a new environment and involves participating in sports and fitness activities together.

On this trip, young adults will spend time:
-improving communication with peers
-learn personal backgrounds of their peers
-establish and build trust with one another
-foster strong bonds with each other 
-collaborate with new people 
-create a lasting life experience ​
