8th Annual Founder's Day Celebration

The time has come when we will honor and celebrate our Senior Pastor and Founder, Dr. Terence A. Merritt, M.D. 8 years ago, he launched out to start what is known as LIFE Church and it's time to honor his sacrifice and commitment. 

In January 2010, Dr. Merritt established LIFE Church in the Candler Park Neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia by leading weekly Wednesday evening Bible Study. Sunday Services commenced shortly thereafter in February. God has tremendously blessed and favored LIFE. Ministries encompassing teen mentorship, prison ministry, food and clothing for the needy and benevolent assistance in the community. In August of 2013, LIFE Church made its first acquisition. The three year old ministry purchased a 25,000 square foot facility in Southwest Atlanta. LIFE Church has taken in more than 450 members in the past four years. Lives are being radically transformed for the better. LIFE Church has truly become a place where “miracles are common”. ​

On Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 10am and 7pm, we will culminate the 8th Annual Founder's Celebration with special guest speaker, Bishop Jack C. Vaughn. 

Bishop Jack C. Vaughn, is a native of Kansas City, Kansas and the Senior Pastor of Evangelistic Center International Ministries Church of God in Christ, Kansas City, Kansas. His work in ministry began when he was 11 years old and he accepted the call to ministry at the age of 17. 
Bishop Vaughn Studied Education at Park University and acquired pastoral training at The Jack Hayford School of Pastoral Nurture. He is a motivational speaker who conducts seminars and workshops on a national and international level. Through publications, television and radio, Bishop Vaughn’s ministry is a blessing to thousands on a weekly basis.  
Bishop Vaughn is also recognized as an Auxiliary Bishop in the Church of God In Christ under the leadership of the Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake, Sr. of Los Angeles, California.  
Bishop Vaughn's personal mission is to assist the body of Christ to: (1) Discern God's timing and plan for their lives, (2) overcome intimidation, and (3) develop sensitivity to the needs of others; along with his goal to reach the masses.
Bishop Vaughn is an awesome Man of God who has tremendous vision, a tender love for God’s people, and truly demonstrates a shepherd’s heart.
