In the wake of the Coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic, we are prayerfully providing the following guidelines for consideration as a church family. After careful reflection and regularly monitoring reports regarding the Coronavirus, we believe these guidelines will allow us to prepare appropriately and decrease the spread of illness and disease.
If you believe you have contracted the Coronavirus or another contagious illness, it is important that you safeguard the health of yourself and others by avoiding contact with others. While we sincerely appreciate your active participation in ministry and your support for LIFE Church, if you are experiencing symptoms of coughing, sneezing, fever, nausea, achiness, shortness of breath, or any type of flu-like symptoms, we respectfully ask that you stay home and contact your physician. Our online platform is available for you to view our Sunday services at 10 a.m. and Wednesday services at 7 p.m. by visiting the LIFE Church public Facebook Page or by visiting the LIFE Church of Atlanta YouTube channel. You can also give electronically via the LIFE Church website (www.lifechurchofatlanta.org), Cashapp ($LIFEChurchAtlanta) or the LIFE Church mobile app. We encouraged you to do the following to avoid exposure and spreading of the virus: • Wash your hands often with anti-bacterial soap for at least 20 seconds. • Clean and disinfect frequently touched areas or objects (e.g., phones). • Avoid contact with those who are sick or who have been diagnosed with COVID 19. • Cover your mouth, when you cough or sneeze with the inside of your elbow. • Avoid touching your face. • Avoid shaking hands, hugging, or kissing, when greeting others. At this time, we are not planning to cancel worship services. Our facility is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to each service. We have placed hand sanitizer throughout the facility for your use. We are removing the crowd control ropes, allowing members and guests to sit where they feel most comfortable. We will also refrain from asking members to shake hands or to hug one another. Instead, we will simply speak or rub elbows with our neighbors. As we aggressively monitor this situation, we will take the necessary measures at the appropriate time. I ask that you join me in prayer for the speedy recovery of all who have been impacted by this Coronavirus, for insight for medical experts and researchers, for wisdom for the leaders of our government, for an effective vaccine, and for effective treatment for those infected. Also, pray for our healthcare workers and all of those on the front lines of this public health crisis. We believe God is our healer and our keeper, and we will continue to put our trust in Him. Philippians 4:6-7 Living Bible 6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. 7 If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.
