Dr. Lee E. Van Zandt is a third-generation member of the Church of God in Christ; the daughter of the late Pastor Woodrow and Mother Gladys Paige Jones. She received the Lord at the age of eight years old through Mother Dorothy Webster Exume. Mother Van Zandt is a graduate of Saints Junior College in Lexington, MS, and Ohio State University with a BS degree in Education. She also attended the Four Square Bible College, and received her honorary Doctorate degree in 2006 from the ABG School of Theology. Mother Van Zandt is the Pastor of Monument of Love C.O.G.I.C. in Vienna, MD, which she and her late husband Elder Benjamin Van Zandt founded. She served as Administrator of Women in Brazil for five years, where she helped build a Mission house, a home for unwed mothers, an orphanage and established a drug rehabilitation center for men. She was appointed as Supervisor of Women in 2000, and resigned in November 2012. Mother is currently serving as Supervisor of the Eastern Shore Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Maryland Dept of Women since 2002. She is the Advisory Chairperson for the Global World Mission Dept. and has served in foreign Mission since she first traveled to Haiti at twelve years old with Mother Exume. She has traveled to 79 countries in the World and spoken in 67 of them. She has been an instructor for the Mission Department during the AIM convention for the last twenty years, and has traveled with YOAM since 1980.
